Mental Health Practitioners and/ or Mental Health Behavioral Aides
Children and Families – Morrison County

Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking Mental Health Practitioners and/ or Mental Health Behavioral Aides to join our Children and Families Division. These Full-time openings are available in our Morrison County In-home Program. Travel is an essential function of both positions; ability to operate a motor vehicle and a valid driver’s license is required. Duties and qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Mental Health Practitioner - The purpose of this position is to provide mental health services to youth and families referred to Northern Pines Mental Health Center. Duties will include individual, family and group skills training, crisis intervention and collaboration with other service providers. Qualified applicants must be a Mental Health Practitioner in at least one of the following ways: Holds a bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university AND has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to children with emotional disturbances OR Has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to children with emotional disturbances OR Is a graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields. Persons employed in this position must have experience working with families.
  • Mental Health Behavioral Aide – The purpose of this position is to implement mental health services identified in a child’s individual treatment plan and individual behavior plan. Qualified applicants will have Associate’s Degree in the one of the behavioral sciences or related fields OR 4,000 hours of experience in delivering clinical services in the treatment of mental illness concerning children/adolescents. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
