Mental Health Practitioner or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
Youth Assertive Community Treatment – Locations Vary, MN

Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking Mental Health Practitioner or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Youth Assertive Community Treatment team. Youth ACT is located within our 6-county region of Crow Wing, Aitkin, Morrison, Cass, Todd, and Wadena. The purpose of this position is to provide mental health and case management services to youth and families referred to Northern Pines Mental Health Center. Duties include but are not limited to: individual, family and group skills training, case management, crisis intervention and collaboration with other service providers. Mental Health Practitioners must qualify in at least one of the following ways: Holds a bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university AND has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to children with emotional disturbances OR Has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to children with emotional disturbances OR Is a graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields. Certified Peer Recovery Specialist qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, personal experience and knowledge of recovery, completion of Department of Human Services approved Peer Specialist certification program and Peer Specialist certification. A valid driver’s license is required.
