Mental Health Practitioner
Crisis Stabilization Services – Brainerd, MN

Northern Pines is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join our Crisis Stabilization Services team. This is a Full-time, overnight position. This position will primarily be located at our Crisis Bed facility, Safe Harbor, in Brainerd, MN. Primary duties will include:assisting with implementation of individual treatment plans, observing recipient goal compliance and document steps taken to reach goals at each shift, and assisting clients in activities of daily living skills training.

Applicants must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in one of the following ways: Holds a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness; Has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness; Is a graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and is formally assigned by an accredited college or university to an agency or facility for clinical training; Holds a master's or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and has less than 4,000 hours post-master's experience in the treatment of mental illness. This position involves driving recipients to various locations within the community. A valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance is required. Current CPR and First Aid Certification is also required. This position requires flexibility in scheduling as this is a 24/7 facility.
