Krystal Aasen, M.Ed., LPCC, LPC, NCC.
I have been a Mental Health Professional for the Children and Families Program at Northern Pines Mental Health Center (NPMHC) since June 2018.
Through my graduate school education, practicum, internship, and my supervised experiences, I have been trained in multiple evidenced based modalities. I have also been trained in trauma-informed approaches such as, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
I have experience working with clients as young as 6-years-old to adults in their retirement. My current population consists of clients ages 12-21. I provide individual and family therapy. Those I serve predominantly reside in the Crosby, MN area. I enjoy working with people. Being able to support clients on their journey to healing and growth is rewarding.
Working at NPMH gives me the ability to have a flexible schedule which allows me to engage in self-care and manage personal tasks. I thrive on connection, so in my free time, I am spending time with family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, watching movies, and engaging in celebrations.Â
