Currently I am in the process of being trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT)
I work with clients in grades K-12; primarily ages 7-17.
My favorite part about my job is the ability to empower clients and elicit hope and change from them. I love watching children overcome and process their life challenges and being there with them along the way. It truly is a special and powerful feeling as a therapist.
I love the support from my directors, supervisors, and colleagues. I also appreciate the flexibility of my schedule. This company is a huge promotor of self-care and using our PTO which is a nice change especially in this line of work where there are high rates of burnout.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love working on the farm and being with my cows, dogs, and cats. I also enjoy diamond painting, reading, shopping, and traveling.
