When I started in the finance office at Northern Pines, I had several years of experience in medical billing. I consider myself a “billing geek” because I really get into my work and I find it fulfilling. There is problem-solving every day which stretches my capabilities. I enjoy helping others to understand insurance and billing processes. Oddly enough, I especially enjoy writing appeal letters to insurance companies.

This company allows me to be myself – I like the culture. I like that I’m a part of a larger purpose. I like the flexibility that Northern Pines offers.

I am a crafter. I make handmade greeting cards and paintings (mostly acrylic on canvas). I love to learn new crafts and techniques. I like to cook, but I like to look through & collect recipe books even more than cooking itself. I love to take trips, whether for something an hour away or you need to get there by plane. I enjoy concerts. I love spending time with my husband and two cats.
