What I enjoy the most being the psychiatry RN is being personable with our clients. I thrive to give the best care possible and be able to assist with any medication/health questions or concerns they may have. Also, coordinating the care with their provider directly and coming up with a solution of the clients’ needs.

What I like about Northern Pines Mental Health Center is they understand you as a person, not just a number. My story with Northern Pines is unique in the way I started over 10 years ago as a mental health behavior aide for children with little working experience in mental health at that time. I kept learning and grew into the role of mental health practitioner in our crisis home, along with deciding to go to nursing school. I just kept wanting to do more, which led to me becoming a Registered Nurse. Northern Pines wants you to have a work/life balance and they respect the fact that you have a life outside of work and need to take care of yourself to be a great employee.

 Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our chocolate lab Reece and our families. Hunting, fishing (both in the winter and summer), cooking, reading, craft fairs and summer/fall festivals. I love exploring and enjoying the nature of new places.
