I enjoy gaining an understanding of others and who they are as a person and building a nurse-client relationship that you don’t always get in other areas of nursing. There are a lot of grey areas in this area of nursing, and I enjoy a challenge and will always advocate for my clients. With that, I enjoy the tight-knit team that is formed with the other staff and being able to work together to provide optimal client care.

It has been a very welcoming and non-judgmental environment since I started. The team is supportive, collaborative, and open-minded. They provide flexibility with the consideration of daily life in mind and that we are human.

In my free time, I enjoy cars, fishing (all seasons), and spending time with my animals (I LOVE animals), family and friends. I also look forward to furthering my education, as I am passionate about my area of work and there is always room to learn more.
