Works with clients ages: Elementary and Middle School youth.

I’ve been working with children since 1985. I have been trained in several counseling theories and therapy techniques over the years. The more pertinent trainings have included person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and most recently Birth – 6 diagnostic training.

I like working with children and adolescents assisting them to gain insight into their world and help them understanding what the expectations placed on them are. I then work with the youth to improve and enhance their current skills so they may obtain their desired outcomes in a healthy and prosocial manner.

Northern Pines is a supportive agency. At Pierz Schools we have a collaborative and supportive team that  each other in our efforts to provide the best services to the youth we provides services for.   I have also noted that the employees at Northern Pines at working to enhance the lives of those individuals we service. Working for Northern Pines is much more than earning a paycheck.
