Works with clients ages: 5-65

I am trained to provide mental health care across the lifespan. I have a particular interest in child and adolescent mental health; however, I see clients from ages 5 to 65. I am dedicated to stay current in the latest research and best practices for clients of all ages so I can provide the best care possible.

I earned my degree in Nursing from Bemidji State University and further specialized with a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of North Dakota.

My nursing career started in 1998. I have worked in various settings including hospitals, community organizations, and mental health. This experience has allowed me to develop a holistic approach to healthcare. I believe that everyone has their own story, and I committed to ensure people have a safe and supportive environment to share their experiences and feel empowered.

My favorite part of being a mental health nurse practitioner is educating people about mental illness, promoting awareness, reducing stigma, and ultimately contributing to better health outcomes that will improve a person’s quality of life.

What I like best about Northern Pines is the number of services that are offered all under one roof. These services are set up to meet the person where they are at, whether their need is medication management, therapy, substance use treatment, community rehabilitation services or crisis intervention. It is all here.

When I am not at work, I make sure that I am taking care of my mental health by spending time with family and friends and making time for myself.
