I have been with Northern Pines since 2008 and with the Brainerd Elementary Program since 2015.

I have a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of North Dakota and I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and DC:0-5: Diagnostic Assessment for Young Children.

I have previously worked with children ages 3-18, but now work with children in grades Kindergarten through 4^th grade within the Brainerd Elementary Schools.

My favorite part of my job is being in the schools and working alongside teachers and other school staff to help support student’s mental health and to be able to have a positive impact on their learning.

My favorite part of working for Northern Pines is the opportunities for growth I have had within the agency since I’ve started. I’ve taken on many roles that have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I have also enjoyed working with so many knowledgeable, kind, and hardworking co-workers along the way, some of which have become lifelong friends!

In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, having movie nights, or going on weekend road trips to go hiking or camping.
